BMW Welt – Junior Campus

Project outline

“Discover mobility with all your senses” is the concept of the Junior Campus, in the BMW Welt in Munich. A unique place where fantasy and curiosity are encouraged at the same time, and where technical knowledge is imparted.

The expedition through various areas of mobility takes the young visitors to three experience rooms. The Campus Portal is accessible for visitors of all ages. Here you can explore for yourself what is behind the term “mobility”. In the Campus Laboratory and the Campus Workshop more in-depth workshops take place for children and youths. There they can research, test, experiment and at the end even build a vehicle themselves.

Petri & Tiemann Wissenswelten Management GmbH, a subsidiary of Petri & Tiemann GmbH, has been operating the Junior Campus since January 2010. The specially employed personnel who have an educational background accompany the young visitors on their expedition through the world of mobility, not only in the Junior Campus but also on the mobility tour through the BMW Welt or during the educational programmes in the BMW Museum. The workshops which last up to 3.5 hours can be booked directly at BMW for individuals or for groups.
